Rhythm and Blues Season Launch Event hosted by Trevor Nelson at Silver: 5th June 2007.
To mark the start of the Rhythm and Blues Season, Music Matrix held a launch event at the new Silver venue in Oxford Circus. The event was hosted by Trevor Nelson and featured an eclectic (though still R&B related!) set
from DJ Dodge. The turnout for the night was amazing with representatives from across the music industry taking advantage of the free cocktails and complementary fried chicken!
The event also featured an exclusive performance courtesy of Dancing In The Streets (the Motown musical currently showing at The Playhouse Theatre. The Supremes and Little Stevie Wonder went down
extremely well with their medley of Motown classics. Several of the attendees expressed their satisfaction at the night and it definately helped to fulfill our aim of
increasing awareness of the Season.
