As well as live musical events, the R&B season will also feature an educational program targeted at young people. Led by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, the program will take the form of:

1. Song-writing master-classes by leading composers and producers.
2. Informative publications geared towards a young audience.
3. A bursary system that will award young songwriters.
